ABOUT THIS POT
A warming, beautifully tender beef stew packed with chunky veg and finished with fresh thyme and orange zest.
Our beef is Aberdeen Angus cross (usually Charolaise) reared near the Ayrshire coast in Scotland. It is handpicked from a selection of farms to meet our exacting standards which include a high marbling content and good fat covering. The cattle are outside on the grass for most of the year and indoors in spacious barns during the harsher winter months with straw bedding. When they are indoors they are fed on home-grown haylage.

HOW IT ARRIVES
All our hot meals are delivered chilled for you to heat (see below) at a time that suits. If you aren't eating same day, we recommend storing in a fridge below 5°c. All our meals are hand prepared by our cooks in small batches, just as you would at home.
HOW TO HEAT
All our hot meals are delivered in trays suitable to use in both an oven or microwave. Before heating make sure to remove branded slip and pierce film with a fork, and make sure food is piping hot before serving. OVEN 1) preheat oven to 180°c 2) Place potage tray on a baking tray in the centre of oven and heat for 10-15 minutes (NB. cooking time will vary depending on number of portions in the tray, our largest tray with 8 portions it takes approx. 45 minutes). MICROWAVE 1) Place tray in the middle of the microwave and heat for 5 - 6 minutes
Whatever we do we always work with the environment in mind. All our meals can be delivered in either individual boxes (one per person) or larger sharing boxes (one bigger box for each salad). All our hot pots are delivered in paperboard trays with a card slip that are both widely recyclable.
