How are the meals made?

All our meals are handmade by our cooks in small batches, just like you would at home, using the finest of ingredients. Once the delicious fresh meals have been prepared we put them straight into our freezer to lock in all the goodness. All our meals are free of preservatives! 

How long will each meal last in the freezer? 

2-3 months

Do you have individual portions? 

Not currently. Our serves 2 meals could feed one hungry person or be enjoyed over a couple days.

How do I heat the meals?

For the best results cook in the oven from frozen. Please check product slips for oven and microwave instructions. 

Do you cater to different dietary requirements/allergies?

Yes we do! Select your dietary requirement on the filter to see the delicious options available. You can find a full list of ingredients and nutritional info on the product pages. 

Where do you source your ingredients?

Wherever possible we use top quality British product. Our meat is from small, passionate British farmers, who use traditional, free-range farming methods and are free from antibiotics or hormonesOur fishmonger sources the freshest fish our British Coastline can offer. The fish is caught off local day boats from Brixham in Devon. Our veg is sourced locally from the best British growers to keep food miles low and support local farmers. 

DELIVERY 

When do you deliver?

We currently deliver Tuesday to Friday, between 8am - 8pm. Our courier DPD will text you on the day with a 1 hour delivery slot.

Where do you deliver?

UK Nationwide.

What if I am not in for my delivery?

All our boxes are fully insulated, so they’ll keep your food frozen until you’re home. We can leave your delivery box in a safe place or with a neighbour if you’re out, just be sure to mention this in the delivery notes when placing an order. 

How long do the meals stay frozen in the delivery box for?

The meals can be kept safely in our delivery box until 10pm day of delivery. Once the box is opened place the meals straight into your freezer.

Do you charge for delivery?

No, delivery is free on all orders.

Can I pick a specific delivery time slot?

Not yet, but we’re working on it! You can pick your preferred delivery day and DPD our courier company will send you a 1 hour time slot on the day of delivery.

 

PACKAGING 

What do I do with the packaging? 

Our delivery box and insulation can be returned to us (free of charge) to reuse, alternatively they can be recycled. Our slips and trays can be recycled, please rinse first. The clear film on the trays can’t currently be recycled but we’re working hard on changing this. 

What is the insulated wool lining made of?  

Our denim insulation is produced from the waste selvedge’s during the production of denim jeans. Our supplier for the denim lining upcycles 4000 pairs of jeans each week. Compared to some alternatives, such as sheeps wool, this is vegan friendly!  

What should I return to my local drop off point?

Follow instructions on the leaflet in your delivery box. Our delivery box and insulation can both be returned for us to reuse.  

 

ORDERING

When do I need to place my order by for the next available delivery date?

Please check online for our next available delivery date, it’s usually within 2-3 days.

Do you have a first time offer?

No but if you sign up to our subscription service we offer 10% off! Also, delivery is always free on all orders! 

Can I edit or cancel an order?

Yes, we ask for 72 hours notice. 

Am I able to adjust my next subscription order to a different bundle? 

Yes, please email order@potage.co.uk

Can I cancel my subscription or skip a week? What is the notice on this? 

Yes! You can pause, skip or cancel your subscription anytime. The notice for editing an order is 72 hours before delivery. 

Can I change the address for delivery under my subscription? What is the notice on this?

Yes! You can pause, skip or cancel your subscription anytime. The notice for editing an order is 72 hours before delivery. 

Can I add/change my delivery notes under my subscription?

What are your office opening hours?

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. If you need to contact anyone on a Saturday in regards to a delivery please do not hesitate to contact our courier company DPD.
