Beef Bolognese

Delicious with spaghetti. This bolognese was one of the first recipes on our menu. Made by hand in our kitchen, using fresh produce and slow cooking to bring out the natural flavours.  Our beef is Aberdeen Angus cross (usually Charolaise) reared near the Ayrshire coast in Scotland.

"This bolognese is a perfectly balanced meal with just the right proportions of protein and healthy fats. It is made using grass-fed, Scottish, Aberdeen Angus mince; providing a meal which is low in saturated fat and high in essential nutrients such as omega 3 fats, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), zinc, iron, Beta carotene and Vitamin E. At less than 258 Kcal per serving, it fits comfortably within daily calorie requirements and has the added benefit of being low in sugar and salt."

Heat me up. If you aren't eating straight away, we recommend storing in a fridge below 5°c and enjoying within 4-5 days of delivery. Suitable for home freezing. Find out how you can recycle our packaging. Spaghetti not included.

MICROWAVE: Microwave ovens vary, refer to handbook. Remove sleeve and pierce film or if you prefer, transfer food to an ovenproof dish. Place tray on a microwaveable plate and heat. Stir halfway through, re-cover and continue heating. Make sure piping hot before eating and allow to stand for 1 minute.

OVEN: Preheat oven. Oven 190° C, Fan: 170° C, Gas: Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve and pierce film or if you prefer, transfer food to an ovenproof dish. Place on a baking tray in the centre of oven. Stir halfway through. Re-cover and continue heating. Heat until piping hot.
