This week we’re celebrating 6 years of deliveries and to celebrate we're adding a little gift into all orders as a small thank you for your support and loyalty over the years.
When I started potage in 2012, I was 25 and didn't really have any idea what I was doing but wanted to create healthy and tasty takeaway food that was compatible with a time-poor lifestyle. I chose to start small - with £1,000 savings and for the first year cooked in my mum's kitchen and delivered locally on a bicycle - so I could build a company that I was proud to say I was part of and slowly build a team that felt the same.
This year we hit a pretty huge target and I feel incredibly proud that we've reached it without compromising on the quality of our product or service.
Our goal is to bring people together by delivering delicious meals in a sustainable way and since founding the business we've always worked with top quality, sustainable and whenever possible local suppliers for both our ingredients and packaging.
Did you know all our meat is from small, passionate British farmers who use traditional, free-range farming methods and are free from hormones or antibiotics? Also that we work with two of the leading sustainable packaging brands to make sure everything we use is either recyclable, reusable or compostable?
This year we've got lots of exciting projects ahead. We'll be introducing more seasonal products to our menu that will change weekly, offering bespoke event menus and lots more. Your feedback is so important to us so please keep sending any ideas or comments you have.
Thank you for your support so far.
