Potage Celebrates 5 Years Of Business
Five years ago this week, I launched potage with an email to 15 local friends and family. My goal was to deliver delicious, handmade meals in a sustainable way. There was one dish on the menu each day - and in the first week I delivered seven orders with a total of £101 sales. Today we’re a team of ten delivering breakfast, lunch and dinner to hundreds of offices and homes across central London each week.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last five years, we wouldn't be here without you. To help us mark this special occasion, we've teamed up with some of our favourite brands and will be giving away a prize each week in October to one lucky customer. All you need to do to enter is place an order and you'll automatically be entered into the competition to win that week's prize!
We're really excited to be giving away one of the following prizes each week:
£350 consultation and two personal training sessions at Matt Roberts
£300 gift voucher from The White Company
£300 gift voucher for natural skincare brand Origins
£100 gift voucher for our butcher HG Walters
You order and choose a 1hr delivery slot.
We cook delicious meals using top quality ingredients.
We deliver everything chilled to your door.
Welcome to potage
I started potage with £1,000 savings in October 2012 and for the first year did all the cooking at home, delivered locally on a bicycle and had a Saturday stall outside Books for Cooks in Notting Hill.
All our meals are handmade by our cooks in small batches, just as you would at home. We work closely with top quality, local suppliers to make sure we're always using the best, seasonal ingredients (read more on our suppliers page).
Over the last four years the business has grown almost entirely organically, thanks to our loyal customers. Today we deliver to offices and homes across central London and I write a food column for the London Evening Standard.
We really value the personal relationships that we have built over the years and look forward to introducing you to the full potage experience.
